The second half of this year has carried on at full speed for local singer/songwriter Mark Sullivan. With a second EP out and gigs left, right and centre it was a performance in June this year which led to Mark being requested back to play at famous Jazz venue, Ronnie Scott's, that got everyone talking again about what's next for this local artist.
With a whole bunch of festivals under his belt for 2015 his focus has turned to prime London venues to move up to the next level of his exciting career. With performances at London Excel, Old Queens Head and The Bedford to name a few receiving an email to come back and play upstairs at Ronnie Scott's was always going to be something to smile about. The last show there was busy but this time the floodgates opened as the Ruby Sings night at the venue saw a queue up the stairs to get in, a coach load for the Hitchin based musician.
With the shows lining up for this local talent a session band has been formed and there are some new releases on their way before the end of the year.... and i can tell you first hand, this is something special.....
